Yep, every chance I get! I live and work on Altus Air Force Base where 18 - 19 year olds go around with M-16s guarding the base. I feel just a little secure that no body will mess with my ride. The best part is parking next to all the Harleys. Couple of weeks ago, had the Wing Commander come into my squadron looking for who owned the Cobra. He was suprised to find out it was an "enlisted guy" not an officer that owned it. Here is the kicker. He said, " Sergerant Austin, is that a real car?" I just smiled and said, "Sir, if you got a couple of minutes to go for a ride you can judge for yourself". He took me up on the offer and about half way around the end of the runway, I pulled over and let him drive it. The base speed limit is 25 MPH. Along the backside of the runway he punched it shifted into third and went WOT. I checked the guage and he lifted at about 90mph. We got back to the squadron and several of my buds were waiting for us to return. He got out, tossed me the keys and wanted info on how to get one. Sent him towards Steve at Lone Star. Hey Steve, Is there a finders fee?????
