One of the drivers behind choosing LoneStar is that they are a licensed motor vehicle dealer in Texas. As such, they handle the initial titling, etc.
In my case, it is registered as a 2003 manufactured vehicle. State Farm was willing to insure it, but the card looks funny. It is listed as a "Ford Shelby"...apparently this was the closest thing they could find in the multiple-choice world.
As I understand it, these cars must be registered for the year in which they are first licensed (in my case January 2003).
