Default T-56 speedometer

Bill, I just went thru this with my conversion using the t-56.
The picture looks like you have a speed sensor for the speedometer. The too large cylinders that screw into the aluminum housings are reverse lockout solenoids. Looks like the speed sensor in located under the rear most lockout solenoid. I understand that all the oem trans have speed sensors. while all aftermarket have provisions for speedo gears.
www.atrol.com markets a cable x convertor, that uses your oem speed sensor, and converts the signal to a speedo cable connection for your speedometer. They may also be able to help with your VDO guages. Hope this helps.
