That is right. Sticker will expire and you can't legally drive your car even to the emission station or CHP or the Brake and Light inspection.

But I believe you guys are absolutely correct, the SB-100 number does NOT expire.

Even if they didn't give you an extension, you will be able to get your car registered with the SB-100 number issued anytime during the year. You may have to trailer it from one place to the other.

I doubt it seriously there will be any numbers to hand out past the first few minutes of Monday.

Yes it is true they are (DMV that is) using some of the 500 numbers for themselves to correct the problems from previous years. I just didn't realize they were going to keep 100 for that purpose.

They will need thousands if they wanted to correct all the early registration problems in this state.

It is time for some grass roots effort to ***** slap the politicians in Sacramento.
I just can't see how the Auto Hobby is going to sit still and take this as if nothing happened. I don't know what to do, or how to go about it.
