I agree that it captures the essence of the Cobra. It doesn't look like the original, it isn't a replicar, it is a 2004 repeat of the formula with 2004 hardware. I think it comes of well. As for performance a high winding v10 40 valve mill pusing 605 horses sounds like a blast to me. This car is zero threat to the 427 market. I'd love to have either in my garage. Having never had the pleasure of owning a 427 S/C and probably not able to afford the new one either I'll have to hold out to see what the Shelby touched Mustang turns out to be. If it's a similar modern interpretation of the 67 GT500 I was lucky enough to own it's mine.

It makes a helluva lot more sense for Shelby to put his remaining efforts into these type endeavors than trying to shake up the 427 market. I say well done and keep at it Shel!
