FYI:
Since a bunch of questions are coming up I will post more specific information. Sorry I didn't provide more information in the lead thread.
The car is a Contemporary Classic 427 S/C built from the molds cast from CSX 3045, an actual S/C cobra. Most cobras are fashioned from the street version of the shelby cobra and modified from there. Burtis purchased and ran C.C, and from what I understand, he had a great engineering approach but a less than stellar business vision. Anyway, the body is perfect as is the suspension and driveline, jaguar front and rear. Frame is powder coated and show detailed. Willwood superlite brakes, pin drive K.O's as original (safety wired), Tires Front 235/15, Rear 295/15, upgraded billet aluminum hubs, aldan coilovers, fuel safe fuel cell, aluminum access panels in trunk for brakes and cell, (dzus fastened). 3 fans, 2 push, 1 pull. ARP fastners were used exclusively throughout the construction suspension and driveline. Interior is full connelly leather with wilton wool carpeting, including trunk. Gauges are smiths, rev. speedo, chrome roll bar and chrome quick release fire extinguisher. Driver seat is adjustable.
The "NOS" block signifies an original unused "New Old Stock" engine block dated "1966". All engine components are top shelf racing items, forged crank, arias pistons, lemans rods, full roller Carrol Shelby aluminum heads, original NOS tunnel wedge intake with dual 750 holleys S&H air cleaners, dove billet H20 pump, MSD billet dist. and 6AL ignition, Stainless sidepipes, ceramic coated headers, centerforce clutch, ultima battery with keyed disconnect, etc. etc., Transmission is big spline toploader with hurst comp +, and reverse mustang shifter. Dana 44 rear limited slip, 3:54 to 1.
Thanks for the interest and again, if you have any questions give me a call at home.
Regards, Bret.
