Like most others have already said here, I'm put off by the angularity. Those edges translated well for the new Mustang and the GT40 because those originals had quite a few flat surfaces and straight lines in them. Trying to flatten out and modernize the Cobra doesn't work for me. Do think the flatness of the car below the waist (front lip spoiler, side ground effects) seem necessary for better areodynamics, and don't seem too awful. But the top of the car (especially the line of the doors) has no visual flow to it at all. Let the Mitsubishi Eclipse references begin!

ps - The car really needs some modern versions of the Halibrand style wheels! But I think the car's mouth is about the only part that really captured the original's style in a modern way with any kind of effectiveness.
