I built a 408 Windsor motor with a 710 lift roller camshaft.
After about 4k miles of street/strip action 4 lifters were junk.
They had not failed to the point of coming apart, but they were not far from it.
I like the sound of FE motors at idle and I know that at low rpm oil is just not able to lube the roller wheels.
Hopefully these new Schubeck lifters will allow us to prevent future failures.
