When I was looking for a car trailer to tow my vehicle a while back, I checked with Ryder and I was told that I had to rent one of their trucks to pull one of their trailers. I don't know if they were trying to say the same thing but a little nicer than Uhaul (I doubt it). I think they were trying grease the palm a little more. BTW, I told them I had an 1986 F250 if that vehicle wasn't meant for towing and hauling then I don't what vehicle is. I guess they wanted avoid any substandard equipment towing their trailers. Needless to say I was not to thrilled was their policy or the way they informed me about their policy.
