It just so happens I was looking at a 1962 AC ACE this afternoon at a small body shop in Dover, NJ. The owner is doing an exterior restoration of the body as we speak,as the new owner (bought it in southern, NJ) is dropping in a fuel injected sbf and 5spd to use for his weekend cruiser this summer. So, yes, I do know what I'm looking at (in both cases)...However, I disagree that the full frame of the TR6 cannot take the HP of the small block Ford engine...The weak link is actually the center "pumpkin", which does need a little bit of work...The frame however (as long as it is rust free mind you) will be more than up to the task at hand provided it is not ebing set up as a drag race only vehicle......................Now what about the answer to my original question????????
