Tonneaus were de'riguer on British sportscars of the '50's and '60's. The Cobra is an Americanized version of a mid-'60's British sportscar and looks quite nice with a Tonneau.

Way back when, I drove my Triumph TR4 almost year around with the tonneau, as well as acquiring a taste for a Cobra instead of a Vette.

For driver only, it extends the "Top-off" driving into colder evenings and months. For parking, it covers the car interior without the top. It unzips, the drivers side rolls up, snaps, and you drive off.
