Default Starter bolts on a 460

Quick question. What is the size of the starter bolts that attach the starter to the block. As always your help is appreciated.

Jeri,

Best I could find is 3/8 -16 x 1 1/4

The OEM bolts have a flanged head and a captive lockwasher. Probably a grade 5 or 8 bolt with a lockwasher will do.

Jeri,

You're welcome!

Just make sure the bolts don't stick too far inside the bellhousing and run into anything that's rotating
