Side pipes
So i have a shelby american build and one of the side pipes errr....disappeared. I have been unable to find a replacement as of lately.....the car has a 7.5L 460 in it and currently has hooker headers on it, does anyone know of where I can get a replacement slip on side pipe? or if not where I can get a set of replacement headers/side pipes. Any help would be awesome because I miss driving my baby

Summit has them in black, chrome, ceramic coated or stainless steel. All are 4" diameter and accept slip in mufflers. From what I can tell, they're only sold in pairs, as are the mufflers.

Like headlights and brakes I'd recommend replacing the pair. Use the remaining side as a pattern.

I have a B.B. 460 in my cobra. They are hand made, and are ceramic coated. The motor puts out 740 HP at the crank. If interested, contact Boss Replica Motors in Burlington Canada. They are on the web, and facebook.

Thanks for the input guys, I haven't found a solution yet, unless I want to drop 2k on new headers and pipes....damnit all I need is a slip on pipe for the right side of the car....the car has hooker headers as is and the diameter is 3 5/8 for the collector. Any help would be appreciated.

You could get a muffler from somewhere like Classic Chambered, I would look up your other tail pipe and try to determine what bore it has, which way the louvers point and if it has any packing inside it. Then I would have Classic chambered make me one to that spec and get a piece of tube and tail pipe from them in the same order and put one together. You're probably talking less than $200 worth of materials.

Yes like Cycleguy said, Summit or Jegs. Just get a muffler and a turnout. A question though, how do you have Hooker headers? Most all headers for these cars are custom made or made by the car manufacturer.
