These days with so much traffic and sub standard roads especially around here the 100+ mph blasts wont last long. In this scenario BB Cobra's built right reign supreme.

I have a Lakewood Scattershield, Mcleod 11" clutch installed on a never stop leaking Tremec TKO
Do your due diligence and research the problems with all Tremec Transmissions before you ruin your driveway or someone else's. I Purchased the whole lot from Mike Forte's in a package deal. He has the best price. Mine has leaked since the second day it was installed, this after three removals with 3 different people trying to fix the input shaft leak. Literally hundreds of threads out there with guys that have the same problem with brand new Tremec's

I can't tell you what bellhousing and clutch are in my setup as I didn't get that information from the previous owner, nor have I pulled it apart. I can tell you I'm running a Richmond 5 Speed Street transmission behind my 460. This tranny has a low first gear and a 1:1 fifth gear (no OD), hence the final drive ratio. The car is 25 years old and, to the best of my knowledge, this transmission has been in there throughout. BTW, no leaks, but the tranny may be coming out as it occasionally pops out of fifth.

Richmond also has 5 speed transmission with 0.77:1 OD (Super Street 5 Speed w/OD - Richmond Gear) and it's rated at 600 ft. lbs. of torque. Based upon a quick review of their Web site, it looks like this one replaced the transmission I have. The two of them appear to be the same unit, just geared differently.
