You mean you are running a mechanical fuel pump???? I thought the injection required a electric fuel pump with a return system.

Oh no you got the juices flowing Brian years ago strongly considered Webers for my 460. Now that EFI has proved itself as reliable and now self tuning topped off with amazing visual it's time to reconsider. I have the intake off my engine now for polishing that alone is an amazing upgrade but Stack injection polished on top of that. All ready know I have the LOOK coming from mother when I pass this one by her.

One of the reasons I enjoy the wife so much she does help keep things in check. I'm certainly going to keep an eye on this 8 stack EFI but this season will run the polished intake since just two years ago flipped for a Davinci 1000 cfm dbl pmp it alone is a beautiful thing.

I've been looking at stack injection. I found a good deal on a lightly used (looks brand new) TWM/Borla system that has everything but the fuel lines and filters for $4,300. A friend found the Speedmaster and we're doing some research.

He said theirs is $1,000 less and it's brand new with a warranty, but I have a thought that the quality isn't there ?

I've heard real bad reviews on their Procomp line of heads, including the aluminum flaking off !

So, I don't know ?

Have you wondered WHY they are so much cheaper? Speedmaster - currently Speedmaster79 - are off shore copies of real speed parts. Their quality not what it should be. This board - and pretty much every automotive board - is filled with threads about speedmaster failures. People fall for the low price deal every time, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

Never buy cheap parts. They're too expensive.

Spend the money once and buy quality parts the first time. You'll be time and money ahead.

So it looks like this thread has been around a while. Has anyone tried this set up? Not "I heard" or "I don't like that brand" but actual experience using the set up. Did it work or not meet expectations. Is the quality good or typical of what people think of when they think procomp.
