Big Block Headers & Side Pipes
I am currently re-doing my side pipes, & headers on my car. At the track it seems that I am hitting a wall about 4K with my current set-up. Can anybody let me know what is working for them out there?? I have 2" off the motor for the shortys, 4 bolt flange then to 1 3/4 at the bends to a 3" collector to a 3" glasspack out to the end. I have a 429 that is turning 430hp at the rear wheels and 450lbs torque early in the curve @ 2.5K. I like the torque down low for the turns. Not sure where to go.
Keep it above 100.................
