Default Is there an easy way?

Is there an easy way to take a stock 1988 460ci and turn it into a naturally aspirated engine, meaning carbuerated?

From what I understand, I trhink 1988 was when they turned them over to fuel injection. Looking to go the simple easy, old school way of running her.

Anyone . . . .

www.summitracing.com Buy a 460 intake and a Holley 750-850 an air cleaner and you'll be in bidness...

Naturally aspirated nearly always refers to non turbo chrarged, non super charged or both.

Every manifold listed for Edelbrock says......."will not fit 1988 and later models"

Is there a trick to this?

Went to Summit, same story there.

Everything I see says the same thing......"will not fit 1988 or later models"

Someone been thru this before and know of an intake manifold?

It's saying it's not for 1988 or later models because the later models are fuel injected.

SCobraC's got the answer....just buy a carb'd intake manifold and carb and swap it off.

I understand that, but is the head design with the intake ports the same design and fit as pre '88?

Ah....I see what you're asking now.....

However, as long as it's not a SCJ intake.....I'm sure you'll be fine.

Are you looking at non-EGR intakes? That could be the catch Edelbrock is referring to....

They're cheap....just order one and see if it matches. Jegs or Summit will let you return for at least 30 days I think...
