which bearings

Hi, its been some time since I was on the site, work, work, diy etc!! anyway, went to vegas in Apr with a few friends for my 50th!! among other things went in the Harley cafe, wife always fancied me to have a cruiser, to cut a long story short just purchased a black/chrome FXDS, the garages are now completely full of american muscle!! anyway the car build is still stuttering along, I have just made a wooden mock up fuel tank that will fit in the boot, should give me about 24 imp gal once fabricated in steel, I had been waiting for one to be made but the company has gone bust along with my deposit!! A question I have for those in the know, My stroker crank(4.140 HR) what bearings would others recommend? would the clevite 'H' series have enough chamfer? and I was told that the 4.500 crank would not clear the block, there appears to be enough people using the 557 combi, does it work? and finally, in 2006 I am planning to do a US trip with a friend and our wives, the route(tbc) will be split between driving/riding Cobra/Harley, the bike/car will have to be hired, I would be interested in any feedback re that venture. all the best from the UK.
