Default Oil Pump Shaft Installation
I'm 99 percent certain of the answer to my question, but I grasping for straws, so I'll ask anyway.
Can the oil pump shaft be correctly installed from the top side of the motor (through distributor hole)?

I WOULD NOT ADVISE IT! Should not be an issue if the pan is already off of the motor. Call me if you need help.
