My buddy has it on his SPF. Using the TWM setup with FAST controller and 58mm throttle bodies. Works damn well but not much available for filters.

I'm running a Mass-Flo system on my 428FE. You might check with Chris and see if his systems will cover your application. In my case I picked up a bit of HP and torque over the normally aspirated configuration.

TWM injection
You can go on my site www.thormotorsports1.com to see a 460 setup and pricing. We now have a multi screen filter that is machined into the base of the airhorn, or a horn top screen filter. Both breath extremely well.

I'm running the Mass-Flo setup on my 460 (545 from Coast High Performance) and fits fine under the hood even with my taller K&N setup. Got it from Chris at Mass-Flo with initial computer setup by him for my application, runs even better with time for the computer to "learn." Instant start, restart and cold start, no more stink from the loaded up Holley system, very dependable thus far. 460 system $3200 add $700 if you buy his fuel system (lines, pump, regulator, filter etc)then another $xxx for all the pieces you wanted different, your particular air cleaner etc. I changed the fuel pump provided to a different in-line pump that would fit up along the frame rail without extending down like the provided one did. I liked it enough to eBay my Edelbrock polished manifold, dizzy, 850DP Holley and some other parts, you'd be surprised how well that stuff holds value

460 Efi
I am going to be in Iraq for 18 more months, but I am going to build a FFR when I get home.
I was looking at craigslist for my town (Tucson) and saw a late '80s F350 P/U for 2000$ W/ 460 W/EFI.
I am thinking for only 2000$ it would be worth buying just for the powertrain.
Only prob is it comes W automatic tranny
Perhaps I will find a wrecked ford fullsize van W/ V10 !!

Brent,
I use the Holley MPFI on my 521. It has a Torker II manifold which is the least tall I could find for the 460. I use the 1000 CFM throttle body and complete setup - see Jegs/Summit for prices. Even with the Torker I still had to raise the hood scoop about 1-1/2" to get a decent air filter on.
I now use 42 lb injectors into bungs welded into the Torker with Aeromotive pump & filters. Now that my second Aeromotive pump has failed, I think I may try a Walbro. The Aeromotives seem to last 5,000 - 10,000 miles and then burn up. Aeromotive rebuilds them for about $100US but it's still a pain.
Overall the system runs pretty well and I'd not go back to a carb. It does need a laptop and some time to learn the system and how to tune it.
Support is here for the Holley system: http://www.chevytalk.org/fusionbb/showforum.php?fid/35/
If I haven't discouraged you from using this system, I'll be happy to answer any specific questions you may have.
Tom

OEM Ford
How about OEM Ford SEFI. Works fine in my combo, and the parts are available at Pep Boys and your local Ford dealer should you ever need them.
My combo is a supercharged big block deal running 83lb/hr injectors and capable of over 1000fwhp. It streets like a normal car. See also:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17qAk_LIN8U
...and pictures in my gallery.
The old Mustang EEC-IV 5.0 SEFI stuff is very adaptable and will support 1000+hp. I've put it on Chevy's, big blocks, small blocks, even 4bangers. The tuning tools are readily available as well.
IMHO, bang/buck it's hard to beat. The only reason I could see to deviate from it is if you were dead-set against a mass-air meter.
Mass-Flow's stuff is OEM Ford EEC-IV by the way. The only notable difference is they jammed a MAF into the throttle body area (which is a bad place for laminar flow measurement) but is seems to work well enough. I can feel (and measure) some problems associated with that system due to the MAF location, but most people don't care...they just think it's the "mean behavior" of the engine. Ignoring the minor part-throttle fueling issues, that's a good system too...identical to OEM Ford, because that's what it is.

Check verycoolparts.com. Wayne is a good guy. He is doing my car right now and I am very pleased with his service. I saw a 460 that he put stacks on and it was beautiful.
Good Luck
