Default Wire loom for 429

Which wire loom is the best for the 429 cobra jet engine? Has anyone tried the Moroso or the Ford Racing loom?

dalew,

I've tried the bigger looms but ended up with something like these: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TAY-42700/

The fancier looms always seemed to be too bulky to fit considering the inner fenders and headers etc.

Others also make some of the clips in different colors or with a chrome finish. I do like the plastic ones as they are more resistant to crossfire and are lighter so they don't stress the insulation of the plug wires.

Just my fiftieth of a buck!

Tom

Default seperaters

I used these on my 460 and they seem to work nicely and keep my wires north of the header tubes. You have a wider choice of colors since I bought mine as well.

kitcarbp,

Yes! Yes! Yes! Those are the ones I ended up using too. Just couldn't find the link when I tried to answer the question above.

Thanks for posting that!

Tom

Thank you!! I have 9mm Ford racing wires. They offer a racing kit that accepts up to 10.5 mm wires.

Thanks for reminding me, I did have to ream mine just a bit to fit the Ford Racing Wires, as sold they only fit 8mm I think.
