Default Intake Manifold

I see you're using the cork end gaskets on the intake manifold. Although they do seal, they are more easily apt to develop leaks; especially as the cork gasket dries out from the heat of the engine.

Experience has shown, and the guys in here can correct me if I'm wrong, that it's better to not use the cork gaskets. Most guys, myself included, just lay a 1/4" bead of black silicone along the front and rear rail surfaces where the manifold meets the block. You have to be sure to place an ample amount of the silicone in the corners. The silicone won't dry out and seems to provide a better seal.

Since you already have it assembleb, I would leave it alone for now. But if you ever have to pull the intake, I would suggest not using the corks.

This is just my opinion.
