I have an aluminium tonneau cover that is secured on by dzeus fasteners. This is used as I dont have a windscreen, only an aeroscreen. When racing the tonneau cover is for aerodynamic advantage (speeds around 190mph).

The tonneau is also put on when on the trailer to stop so much rain getting into the car, or if I am driving on the road on my own, as it cuts down wind.

When the cover is off, I have a second aeroscreen that also is fastened by dzeus fasteners, so that a passenger can come for a ride.

Unfortunately, the cover does rub the paint something rotten tho. I plan to put some clear cover silmilar to the 3m stuff people put on the front of cars to stop this after the next re-paint.

As far as I know, nobody else has made one like this. The cover is painted the same as the body, including stripes, so changes the appearance of the car quite a bit.
