Would like to compliment BDR on the fuse panel layout which made my nitrous system electrical installation a breeze. It was very nice to have 2 unused fuse blocks that were fed from the ignition switch. I was able to run all my nitrous accessories from these extra fuse slots. I added 4 additional switches to my dash for a bottle opener, bottle heater, nitrous power, and purge switch. I ran all these from the spare blocks, man what a breeze. No need to splice into anything else and the electrical setup is nice neat and tucked away.
Would like to see the battery cutoff switch terminals (located in the trunk) covered with a plastic cover. While installing my system I had the battery cutoff switch off and removed. I did not realize that the terminals in the rear were exposed. You cannot see them due to the battery being in the way. I thought if I avoided contact with the actual battery terminals, there would be no other "hot" sources. Well, while feeding my braided nitrous feed line, it came into contact with the cutoff switch terminal and rapidly heated up and started to catch my carpet on fire and burning the insulation off my positive battery wire. After difusing the situation and setting off all the smoke alarms in my garage, I realized what had happened. Luckily the burnt carpet is not noticeable and the positive battery wire can be replaced. This is a small request and would literally cost BDR pennies.
Just trying to help,
Bryan.
