I am using a nice pair of black kid leather gloves which have really soft leather, fit tight and have a velcro attach or tightener on the top of the wrist. These are kind of like an unlogo'ed style of baseball batting glove. Comfortable as heck. I paid about $25 for the pair at a men's store. There is no brand name.

Recently, I purchased a similar pair at of all places Marshalls. They were on sale at about $12. All leather, black, very soft, fit tight, again with the velcro wrist tightener tab. How well they will last I do not know.

Advice? Go to a good sporting goods shop and see if Nike has a black pair of baseball batting gloves without too much logo adornment. They grip well.

Frankly, I am such a goofball.... I am always loosing a glove or a pen or whatever... however, I always tend to loose them QUICKER if I pay more for them. I have a wonderful collection of empty pen boxes from expensive pens and single gloves. I am sure I am not alone here...
