Just my opinion, but while the C4/C5 would be a very good chassis to build any number of kit cars upon (the Lister sounds interesting), I would avoid using Chevvy parts on a Cobra. While the performance could be good, it would still be an oddball, and you would take it in the shorts when it came time to sell.

Now I have nothing against Corvettes, or Brand X, as my Cobra club calls them (I've owned four Plastic Chevvies and my daily driver is an '87 with over 210K miles on it), I think you will find that the closer you keep your Cobra to the original (within reason), the more satisfaction you will have with your machine. Again, just my opinion. Rich
