392 stroker timing
Does anyone know why ford tech recommends 30-32 degrees total advance for the 392 and recommends 36-38 degrees total advance for the 302? Most dynos seems to get max HP at about 36 and I would think that the 30-32 that ford recommends for the stroker is a little retarted, any input from you guys that know more than me???? We are talking about the crate 392 with the roller cam and svo alum heads 9.7:1 comp. WOuld appreciate some insight.
