Well, I wish that I could say that this car is fixed but it isn't. The existing brake pads had over 1/4" of pad left which isn't much less than new pads and they didn't looked glazed to me but I did go ahead and change the pads. With everything that I have done to this car, the brakes are about 50% better . Unfortunately I still have the problem of the rears locking up. I don't like throwing in the towel on a problem but I feel that they should take the car down to Nostalgic Motors who built the car and see what their thoughts are on it. I really don't want to try to "reengineer" this car when several people have said that when they drove this car at a previous time, the brakes were fine. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and suggestions and to Gary at Shelby for his concern and suggestions. Also, I can't forget Jim Maxwell also who started this tread.
