An added bonus to my way of thinking, is that an aluminium cased Toploader is very period and would be totally acceptable for vintage racing, some people are now using Jericos. The PDL Mustang is a very famous (in this neck of the woods) old 1977 circa racing sports sedan, they have taken out the Toploader and fitted a Jerico. I dont think the lap times have changed though but its easier to change gear!
