I suggest you give the folks at Dynamic a call.
I had the set innards adjusted on mine to lower the tush so I didn't feel like I was sliding into the legwell. I also had two of the Oltoff's metal spacers put under the front of the seat (call Oltoff for details), which canted the seat back a bit (and made some folks rollbar legal for track to boot). I find the seating very comfortable now. I believe you *can* attach the seat directly as you suggest.
