Default dual quad on a 390

I have an old Edelbrock dual plane dual quad intake on my 390 and am running two carters which I believe are 550's? the numbers are not complete on the carbs. It is the first dual quad I have ever owned and am really pleased with the throttle response. I thought there would be a lot of bogging and sputtering but it ran real well until I took it to the track and wiped a caouple lobes off the camshaft. I had it in a '71 stepside pick up with a 3.90 gear with 31.5 mud grips and still ran a mid 13 with the clutch slipping. the cam was a Isky cam if I remember right it was a 280 degree with a .514 lift with a 108 lobe seperation. I am currently going back thruogh the motor and could not find the same cam but I got another Isky with the same degree and lobe seperation but with a .565 lift. So we'll see how it does here in a couple of months.
