Have heard several stories of incontinent tremecs. My own leaked from the get-go. The leak was difficult to track down, there are some strange aerodynamic goings-on up in the transmission tunnel - moves leaked fluids away from the source. Eventually I took off and re-sealed the shifter tower top plate - instant cure, no more leak. Took at least 15 minutes to complete.
Whilst leaking, the source of the loil looked very like yours - all over the place, but it was just this one point.
Never thought about invoking any kind of warranty - just fixed it.
