I too am not totally satisfied with my "correct" mirrors; they do an adequate job only, although they do look good. But I also do agree with Real 1: you need to turn and look just to make sure. Since I have no top, all it takes is a quick glance, so it's no biggie. As a teenager I used mirrors only until I discovered what is called a blind spot. After almost turning into some civilian, I quickly got into the habit of looking before turning and using directional signals, which also helps warn other drivers, although most people seem seem to have some avoidance to using them.
Especially Porsches and BMWs. Oops, hope I didn't offend anyone... ; ) Rich
