Steve, \I do agree with you that anybody looking for a first Cobra might just as well go for the Kirkham and be done with it.
A lot of us started way before Kirkham and Shelby were in the replica business and our only options for a high end Cobra were ERA and Contemporary.
So now I have spent enough on my car to buy a Kirkham and a 1/2 so what so I do? Dump the Contemporary and give all my hard work to some newbie for 1/3 of what it cost me? Not me, I did all the work and im gonna trade it in for some newer replica? If I am gonna blow any more dough on a Shelby it's gonna have a CSX2000 or 3000 number.
Then I will have a REAL Shelby.
