The COBRA S/C came about as full COMPETITION COBRAs and were coverted after they didn't sell very well, to the SemiComp variant, because of rumored rule changes and the advent of mid-engine cars had them uncompetitive.

That said, not one item of luxury (per 1965 era) was to be had.
Most of the trim type upholstery, carpet, stock seats, glovebox, ashtray, spare wheel tray, bumper/overriders, standard mirrors, steering wheel center trim, and several other items were not included to eliminate weight.
