I am expecting my Genesis aluminum block very soon.

Tim told me that Ford is endorsing this block.

He said that in fact it will be a registered Ford part.

The iron block is overkill in strength weighing about 25lb heavier than a stock block. And the aluminum block is essentially the same casting.

These have both been tested and with good results.

The aluminum blocks, after heat treating and machining, are sent out for a coating that protects against perosity. This is a process that Ford uses for their aluminum heads.
