Paul,

Anything is deadly in the wrong hands. The 911, when driven correctly is actually one of the most well planted sportscars out there, just not overly forgiving until the 90s if someone should "panic lift" the throttle mid corner. It is also probably the single most winningest GT/Endurance/Long Distance race platform ever made. I have actually just thought for 5 minutes what other continuously produced platform has won more races/championships that it has. If you know anyone who has the RUF Faszination video, you must watch it, and see how it's weakness can become an asset in the proper hands.

P.S. Would I let my kids drive a 911 until they had proper training--hell no. But then I wouldn't let them near a Acura NSX either.
