Something I've thought about doing to allow for the mounting of "H"-type belts is what we did in a friend's Pantera - on that car we bolted in a bar that went between the standard lap/shoulder belt top mount point (where you secure the "Y" belt now). The "H" belts were threaded onto the bar.

Apart from the fabrication required for the bar, any issues with that approach?

PS - a while back, DV pointed to a thread where he had pictures of his belt mounting system, but unfortunately, the pictures were lost. Are those still available anywhere? Might make a good addition to the CRII website.
