Not Ranked
I don't recall there was EVER a 302 Clevleand block offered in the US. If so, I'm surprised having never heard ANYONE reference a 302 as a "C". In fact, I never heard a 302 refered to as a "W" (Windosor). It's just a "302". Might be Mexican block, or truck block but thats about it. With some modification you COULD run the 351 C heads on the 302 but that was NOT common and resulted in a very high rpm engine that was NOT street friendly in any way!
Now when you talking 351's, yeah, it can get REAL complicated! Is that a 351 W or C? Or perhaps the 351M (which was STILL a "C" but modified for use in trucks). Then came along the 400 "C" or "M" but it was NEVER a "W".
What happened down under or across the pond could be a whole different story!
Andys pic is CERTAINLY without a doubt either a 302 or 351W. It most certainly is NOT a "C" engine.
