I certainly don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but why wouldn't you ceramic coat in silver or black for approx $250? Mine were originallly Jet-Hot black, but I had the them re-done at a local ceramic coating shop in silver for that price. They look amazing, the durability is proven, and supposedly the ceramic allows for cooler header and engine temps. You can even polish them and they look new.

Serious question, is it to save $125 or just a preference? I can understand painting for those that don't want to bother removing the pipes, but if you have to remove them anyway.........
