clayfoushee - To answer your question about was it worth saving $125, truthfully, I'm not sure. In my case, Dean saw my pipes and said he'd make them look a lot better than the original SPF black paint that was peeling. He mentioned the exhaust powder coat and showed me some samples and I said "what the heck, let's try it".
I guess I could have paid $250-$300 and shipped my pipes somewhere, but I thought I'd try something different.
If for some reason, this stuff burns off in a couple years, then I'll look into getting cermaic coating. By the way, I purchased my SPF headers already silver cermaic coated and they still look great 2.5 years later.
