Come on up! Registration is not a big deal. Where you allready have a title you simply go to the town cleark and write a couple of checks. (1 for the town & 1 for the state.) They'll give you plates and off you go. This will not be much money as the fees are based on the cars origional value which is then aged. Weight also is a factor.
Inspection will be OK. Several of us can recomend a good place to get it done. Just be sure the guy is OK with inspecting this type of car. I go to a guy who gives me a through and honest safety review but will take my word for it when I say I've check the brake pads ect.
We had an emisions law back in the 80's but none now.
Side pipes are legal. There are noise laws of course, but like most places if you're not being a jerk the cops will not bother you.
As you know there are lots of great Cobra roads in that part of the state.
