You need to check your facts before you jump in with alleged accusations of a person's veracity---I know David-- what he presents is true.

My folks bought a 63 Galaxie new in 63---and my father was impressed with the power of the "289" option he'd ordered--

And knowing David I would have every confidence in that engine being as what he says it is.


Do some research -- the reason CS couldn't initally get the 289 was because FOMOCO wasn't fully geared up to produce them and offered them only on a limited basis in select cars in their line-up, Hi end Ford, some Lincolns and I belive Hi end Mercury(?)
