I have the comp cams equivalent of a B303 in my 302, also with a 600 CFM vac. sec holley, but using Dart (WP windsor Jr.) heads.

It does have a nice lope at idle, ~800 RPM makes a nice shake.

You'll find power a little weak below about 2K RPM, but pulls strong nearly to 6K, and has a great howl as it comes on the cam.

Can say much regarding the C4, other than my gut tells me with such a light car you might not want to push the stall up to far - it may affect drivability and cause some cornering issues.
