I am not sure as my valve covers have the holes and I use a twist on cap on the left side and a gromet and PCV valve on the other side. But a guy I know has those with the pipes sticking up and I think he got a rubber plug or gromet like fitting that went right into the top of the pipe and the PCV valve went into that just like the ones that don't have the pipes. I tried calling him but he isn't home. I am sure some of the guys here have that setup and can tell you for sure. You aren't dumb. I can't answer the question for sure either and I rank just above dumb. At least you are intelligent enough to ask rather than mess something up.
