Just guessing on my part but I am assuming that you got the other rear wheel off ok. Did you see anything inside the spinner on it? I once knew a guy that put locktite in his so they wouldn't come loose while driving. They didn't. And if you got the other one off ok, then it stands to reason that you are trying to turn this one the correct direction. The tool is about as handy a thing as I have seen any of the guys that have spinners around here have. Easy to use and they check the torque every time they stop.
