The only "bug up my ass" is that you always seem to assume that you are the only one "who has been out there". You don't know many of us on this site, including me, so you have no idea what my racing background is. Yet you assume that you are the only one with this type of experience.
I'm not "personally attacking" you, just trying to get you to see that you're being a bit arrogant in your assumptions.
That's the type of attitude that brings this site down...
