Keep jumping over the doors like Batman until you accidentally scuff the leading edge of it, then it's not much fun anymore. You could just remove the doors altogether like a Jeep CJ 5!
I really don't have much faith in any side impact crash bar protection in a Cobra when you take into consideration other automobile bumper heights and the fact that for the most part a Cobra drivers whole upper torso is higher than the door. Next time out take notice the height of other cars in relation to yours and you will realize that if you were unlucky enough to be involved in a side impact collision the other cars bumper will most likely hit you in the shoulder. I drive the Cobra with the same mindset as riding a motorcycle...any accident could be fatal so I must be super attentive while driving....OR...just try not to think about it
