98Aggie,

I'm only 6'3" (on a good day) and 235 lbs. and it is a rather tight fit for me in my FFR Spec Racer. All of my height is cockpit height and I have 36" long arms and short legs (32" inseam).

My car pedals have been bent so that I can fit my #12's without hitting all three pedals at the same time. The driver and passengers footboxes are dropped, my steering column is raised 2" more than stock, my seat is a 20 degree layback and has been modified so that I can move it back up against the roll cage and back bulkhead. And we had done various other little things to make me fit with some degree of comfort. I sit well above the stock windshield and have to look down through it to see out. It is a very tight fit. (see my pix below)

I have been told that there are several owner/drivers that are approaching 7' that fit into a Unique chassis (which is on a 90" wheelbase) but you may have trouble fitting into any Cobra except one with a longer (94") wheel base.

Just my .02 worth. However, you are welcome to stop by my house in Houston and see if you'll fit.

Terry
