Hello Duane,

Re: Derby Day Car Show, May 1, 2004

On May 1, 2004, Dave Lucchetti, President and CEO of Pacific Coast Building Products, will be hosting the second annual Derby Day gala benefit on the grounds of his five-hundred acre ranch on Dillard Road. There will be several entertainment venues that day. One is a car show to which you are invited to display your group’s cars. The long, winding driveway is paved: no issues with dust. Cars will sit under trees surrounding the small lake near the family home: beautiful. Lunch for two, beverages, and a gift basket will be presented for each car and People’s Choice Awards will be presented to winning cars. Car owners are asked to make a $25 dollar donation that will go directly into the beneficiary charities’ coffers. (Sierra Adoption Services, Ronald McDonald House and the WIND Youth Center and Shelter.) Car owners are also asked to accommodate the dress code for the day: slacks and polo shirts for the gentlemen and “afternoon-party appropriate” for the ladies. Staff will be on hand to direct car owners to restroom facilities, lunch area and for general Q&A.

Also included here is information for car owners in the event they would care to participate more fully in the day’s activities. There will be a big screen viewing of the Kentucky Derby and attendant betting, horse riding demonstrations, tours of the horse breeding facilities, several music venues, a dachshund race, a hat contest for women, wine tasting and a catered lunch, among other things.
